For the past 10 years, Amelia has been engaged in employee training and development, organizational change management, and best-in-class relationship management methodologies for diverse workforces in a variety of corporate and coaching environments. As a Sales Administrator at Christie’s Fine Art Auctioneers, Amelia discovered her talent for capacity-building and organizational development when selected to create a training program for her peers. Her passion for training and desire to learn business from the inside out led her to Home Box Office, Inc. (HBO), in Integrated Business Solutions and Business Continuity Management. Amelia has enjoyed managing her rapidly growing coaching company, Advance Yourself Coaching, since 2009, helping individuals and organizations to generate increased energy, focus, and direction toward realizing their goals. Her corporate client base has included high potentials seeking career planning; mid-career managers desiring improvement in leadership and communication skills; and executive directors, doctors, and soloprenuers seeking to balance personal and career goals. Her private client base has included career professionals from a wide range of fields including information technology, education consulting, interior and fashion design, small business, and health care. In addition to professional endeavors, Amelia has served in a variety of volunteer community leadership roles, from leading adults in grassroots community action surrounding relevant social, spiritual, and educational issues, to providing character education courses for children and facilitating youth groups that voice a healing message of unity in diversity using the performing arts. As a vehicle for community building though the arts, Amelia spent her formative years as an actress, emcee, and dancer, performing from the underground hip hop scene in Brooklyn, NY, all the way to the foremost universities of Siberia, Russia.
